Northern Kerala has historical links. St Thomas came to the Kerala shores in 52 AD, Portuguese traveller Vasco da game the first European landed at Kappad near Calicut in1498, followed by the Dutch, French and the English. Northern Kerala had trade and maritime connectrious with the Gulf countries, Egypt and Western Asian countries from time immemorial. Malabar coast is known for the spices trade. This tour gives a feel of this ancient era and can see the touches of history everywhere!

Day 01 Calicut ( gateway to northern Malabar)

Arrive at Calicut airport. On arrival, meet assist and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon Sightseeing of the city visiting the Pazhassiraja museum Arts gallery and Kirtads-the museum where ancient tools and devices used by the tribes are kept. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 Calicut-Kappad-Calicut

Full day visit of Kappad beach where Vasco da landed, Beypor the ancient port and fishing harbour. Visit Beypor the center of ancient "Uru" ( ocean going vassels ) manufacturing centre-the techniqur is now known to few families only. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03 Calicut-Vythiri (eco rich village ).

Morning drive to Vythiri (65 Kms ) Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the nature at its best. Overnight at the resort.

Day 04 Vythiri.

Full day at leisure to enjoy the ecology and nature. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05 Vythiri- kannoor (ancient city of historical impotance ).

Morning at leisure. Afternoon drive to Kannoor ( 170 Kms ). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06 Kannoor.

Morning visit of Kannoor city, St Angelo fort Afternoon leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07 Kannoor-Calicut.

Drive to Colicut ( 95 Kms ), on arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08 Calicut / Onward destination.

Assistance for departure and transfer to the airport for flight to onward destination.
