Day 01:Mumbai Vadodra
Arrive Mumbai. Meeting on assistance and transfer to the domestic airport
to board flight for Vadodra. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Afternoon excursion
to Champaner. You visit Pavagadh, a fifteenth century fort and the famous
Mosque which is reputed for its architecture. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02:Vadodra - Ahmedabad
Morning leave for Ahmedabad by road. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Afternoon
visit Sabarmati Ashram started by Mahatama Gandhi. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03:Ahmedabad
Full day city sightseeing visiting the magnificent Mosque of Siddi Saiyad
with its exquisite stone carvings, the beautiful Jama Masjid, white marbled
Hathee Singhs Temple, Dadar Hari Baoli, Shaking Minarets and Calico Textile
Museum .
Overnight at the hotel. Day 04:Ahmedabad Modhera - Patan - Ahmedabad
Full day excursion to Modhera and Patan. One of the most magnificent temples
of Gujrat, the Modhera Temple, built by the Solanki kings in 1025 A.D. was
dedicated to the Sun God. The temple was constructed in such a manner that
the rising sun at the equinoxes shone straight into the shrine and illuminated
the image of Surya. The temple is profusely and intricately carved. Patan,
once and ancient capital is famous for its Jain Temples, Wood Carvings, and
Patola Handlooms.
Day 05:AMD Lothal Bhavnagar
Morning leave for Bhavnagar by road. En route visit Lothal. Excavations here
have brought to light an ancient port complete with dockyard connected to
the sea through the river Bhagva. Streets laid out in chess board pattern,
dividing the town into many blocks, houses and with bathrooms and underground
drainage system identical to the ones found at Mohenjodaro and various arts
and artifacts are the interesting features of this place. On arrival check
in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06:Bhavnagar
Full day excursion to Palitana. 56 km from Bhavnagar, Palitana lies at the
foot of the Shatrujaya Hill, with the Sahtrujaya river flowing to its south.
The 600 meters ascent from the base of the hill to the summit is a walk of
some two km, up more than 3000 steps. Over a period of 900 years, 863 temples
have been built here. The temple dedicated to Shri Adishwara, the first janin
apostle, is the most sacred. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the
hotel.
Day 07:Bhavnagar Somnath Sasangir
Morning leave for Sasangir. En route visit Somnath. The Somnath Temple was
razed and rebuilt several times before the existing temple was built in 1950
on the traditional patterns on the original site by the sea. It contains one
of the twelve sacred shiva jyotirlingas. On arrival check in at the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.

Morning and afternoon jeep safari in the Sasangir Lion Sanctuary.
