Destination:Delhi-Leh-Spitku-Zingchen-Gandala-Skiu-Marka-Thachungtse -Nimaling - Shangsumdo -Martselang - Leh

The valley known for its scores of flora and fauna, and thus make the breeding ground for the endangered Snow leopard. After crossing the high pass, the Ganda La, 4900m, you then enter the Markha Valley. Wading the river several times you walk up the valley past extraordinary rock strata and numerous ruined fortresses dating back to the 6th century, or earlier. Leaving the valley you gradually climb to the high altitude Yak pastures of Nimaling 4700m, from where it is only a couple of hours walk to reach the base camp of Kang -Yatse 6,400m. A zig-zag path meanders up from Nimaling to the highest pass on trek, the Kongmaru La, 5,200m for superb views north into the Tibet plateau, the Karakoram mountains to the north west, and the Ladakh range to the south. After you end the trek at Martselang, the jeeps will take you back to Leh via Hemis,Thiksey and Shey monastery ( one hour Drive ).

Day 01:Arrive Delhi
Meeting & assistance at airport, then transfer to Hotel Le Meridien. Overnight at Hotel Le Meridien.

Day 02:New Delhi
Full day city tour of Old & New Delhi visiting Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid, Rajghat, Humanyun Tomb, Qutab Minar. Overnight at Hotel Le Meridien.

Day 03:New Delhi – Leh
Morning transfer to airport for flight to Leh. Upon arrival meeting & assistance at Leh airport, then transfer to Hotel and acclimatize. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04:Leh
Acclimatization and sightseeing around Leh. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 05:Leh – Spitku - Zingchen
Drive to Spitku (a 15 minutes drive) and start trek from Spituk to Zingchen ( 05 hours – gradual hike ). Overnight at Tent.

Day 06:Zingchen – Gandala
Trek from Zingchen to Base Gandala ( 04 to 05 hours ). Overnight at Tent.

Day 07:Gandala – Skiu
Trek from Base Gandala to Skiu ( over Gandala pass 5000 mtrs, 06 to 07 hours ). Overnight at Tent.

Day 08:Skiu – Marka
Trek from Skiu to Marka ( 07hours ). Overnight at Tent.

Day 09:Marka - T hachungtse
Trek from Marka to Thachungtse ( 04 to 05 hours ). Overnight at Tent.

Day 10:Thachuntse - Nimalaing
Trek from Thachuntse to Nimalaing ( 04 to 05 hours ) Overnight at Tent.

Day 11:Nimalaing
Rest day at Nimalaing. Overnight at Tent.

Day 12:Nimaling - Shangsumdo
Trek from Nimaling to Shangsumdo over Kongmarula pass 5200 mts. ( 07 hours ). Overnight at Tent.

Day 13:Shangsumdo - Martselang - Leh
Trek from Shangsumdo to Martselang ( 03 hours ) and drive to Leh (45 minutes ). Overnight at Hotel.

Day 14:Leh – Delhi Dep.
Transfer to Leh airport for flight to Delhi. Upon arrival meeting & assistance at airport then transfer to Hotel Radisson. Late evening transfer to International airport for flight to back home.
